LAST UPDATED 4-December-2000

Keene, New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival was a blast!  Not only did they beat their own world record with 23,727 LIT pumpkins, but they continue to set the standard for what a real New England pumpkin festival is all about.  The day started out cold and only got colder.  Jennifer and I brought with us 4 carved pumpkins as well as 2 uncarved pumpkins.  We spent the day (between running inside someplace to warm up) caving those two pumpkins.

The photo albums below are broken into two parts.  The first part are the pumpkins.  This first index will give you an idea of just how many pumpkins we're talking about.  It is just incredible!  And well worth the trip!  My favorite from this set is the one showing the scaffolding filled with lit pumpkins, near the center of the thumbnail images.

The second part are the people.  This second index will give you an insite to how much visitors enjoy partaking of the fun this festival has to offer.  My favorite from this series is the one of a woman staring intently at one of my carved pumpkins, probably wondering if it was real.  This picture is the one in the lower left of the thumbnail images.

NOTE: File sizes range from 15KB - 40KB Lit pumpkin pictures are about half the size of Unlit pumpkin pictures.
